The 'eKo' Deck & Hull #001 was started o­n 11/10/2008, yeah.

We completed the infusion today. Yeah..... Infusion included hull skin, keel reinforcements, omega and stringers. What a way to build a boat. 12/08/2008



All the greenflow was added and first drop test was done o­n the bag. 12/05/2008






Finished installing all of the laminate for the hull today. Started putting peel ply and green flow for the infusion. 12/04/2008

Finished the loading in the laminate for the hull today. Wow what a lot of material. 12/03/2008









Katie is putting in some flow media for the keel area. This layer will aid in the laminate stack around the keel. Pierre designed this area to be very stout.... 12/02/2008

Installed the chopped strand mat over the gel coat to protect it during the infusion lay up. 11/23/2008

Sprayed gel coat into the mold. 11/22/2008

Joined the two hull mold halves and vacuum tested the mold. It passed. 11/21/2008

Spent two days buffing, sealing and spraying part release compond o­n the hull molds.

We demolded the deck and all looked good. 11/18/2008















We infused the deck today. 11/17/2008

Final layer of fiberglass was added to the laminante stack o­n 11/13 as well.

Plywood inserts and foam core was cut o­n the 11/12 and 11/13.

All the cloth was installed for the outer layer of the laminate stack. 11/11.

Drew and Katie cleaned, sealed and coated the deck mold  release for the beginning of the deck.

O­n Monday we sprayed Duratec Primer.Toe rails were laminated in and foamed today. We also laminated the 'mat' o­n all vertical areas of the cockpit and transom. 11/10
